CLIFF HOUSE BY MODSCAPE CONCEPT
Modscape, an Australian architecture firm specializing in stylish prefab homes, has envisioned the rather uninspiringly named “Cliff House.”
What’s more inspiring is the actual design of the proposed structure.
In the renderings, the entire structure hangs off the edge of a cliff, with only the garage at ground level.
Below that are four levels of living space, each of which is surrounded by panoramic windows, so jealous hikers can spy on just how awesome your life is.
this is just a concept at the moment, but Modscape would be happy to build the home for that special someone who has the balls to go through with it, ownership of the right cliff, and a lot of money. Mostly just that last one.
Entry to the home is through a carport on the top floor, where a lift vertically connects the user through each of the descending living spaces.
Internally, the living spaces feature minimalistic furnishings to ensure that the transcendent views of the ocean and the unique spatial experience of the location remain the integral focal point of the design.
Surely the mental strength needed to live in this house. If you are a person who is afraid of heights, so even when you are sleeping you are overcome with worry.
But for those of you who have a hobby that requires a lot of adrenaline, then stay at home like this will be a very interesting thing.
