Artikel Arsitektur – Pernah bereksperimen mendesain furniture transparant? Saat kita diminta mendesain Interior dengan keterbatasan ruang, mungkin pernah diantara kita membuat meja berbahan kaca transparan.
Beberapa proyek interior, seperti meja Pantry, Meja director, coffee table ataupun kursi mini bar, adalah item furniture yang sering dibuat dengan material transparan (Kaca/acrylic).
Namun biasanya masih terbentur dengan rangka konstruksi besi/lainnya. Tetapi, Grand Illusion Table karya designer John Brauer ini, benar-benar tanpa rangka, dalam artian, bahan dasar dibentuk sedemikian rupa sekaligus berfungsi sebagai kekuatan. Seolah-orah hanyalah helaian taplak meja transparan.
