Trend istilah Simplicity… Minimalist, dari awal abad ke-19 dan secara bertahap menjadi gerakan penting dalam respon terhadap desain dalam kaitannya untuk unsur dekorasi. Desain minimalis kenyataannya bukanlah desain yang sangat populer.
